Mural Arts Program Community Paint Dat at Al-Aqsa Islamic Academy

Community members and members of Philadelphia City Council help fill in the decorative elements of what will become parts of a banner along the building’s roof. Once a nondescript warehouse, the building housing Al-Aqsa Islamic Society is part of an long term ongoing Mural Arts Program project. In December 2015 a severed pig's head was found at the site of the North-Philadelphia mosque.
